Born in Rio de Janeiro Julio Brechó is freelance theater technician since 2001.
Studed Production and Cultural Events at the Technical School Adolfo Bloch in the city of Rio de Janeiro. His love for the theater technique began at the Festival Territorio Livre, a grand event with artists from various disciplines in the historic Teatro Casa Grande.
Because Julio electrician was, he helped building, lighting, installations, exhibitions and artworks for students of arts. The event had seven editions and such a positive effect caused by the city council that decided to invest in the reconstruction of the theater. Today the theater is one of the most technologically advanced theaters from the city of Rio de Janeiro.
In 2002, Julio got member of theater group Os Escrachados do Teatro, where he began his career as actor, musician and producer. The group became known for satirizing the politics of Brazil to the world. Performing in public places as square and Ipanema beach. The greatst periode of the group was with two seasons in the Circo Voador with the performances "Preta de graxa e os sete chapadões" and "A biblia versão 2002". In 2003 he started studyng at the Escola de Teatro CETEP-Quintino (theater school) where he acquired knowledge about music, sing, dance, theater history, creating and manipulating puppets.
In 2004, Julio worked at Circo Voador as a technician. place were the great names of Brazilian music as Caetano Velozo and Cazuza started his carreer. Then he began to work for the Carnival of Rio de Janeiro through the Samba School Pimpolhos da Rio Grande. Here he has other facets of the technique learned as buiding sets and lighting for events of larger productions.
In 2005 he also began the construction of scenarios and lighting for major events, festivals, movies and independently produced programs, such Atacadão dos Filmes (Circo Voador) Telheiro Cultural and Conversa Fiada (Lonas Culturais do Rio de Janeiro).
He also worked for independent producers of short films, such as Favela Filmes.
In 2006 he joined the theater group Nós do Morro (Rio de Janeiro), he leaves the group to make a trip to the Netherlands to meet his ducht girlfriend. After a stay in the Netherlands for three months in the summer of 2006, Julio decided to join his partner and moved permanently to Amsterdam in November 2006. He has learned the language and culture of the Netherlands doing volunteer work at festivals such YO Opera Festival (Utrecht), Tweetact Youth Theatre Festival (Utrecht) and Karavan Festival (North-Holland). He gets Dutch friends and begin to build business networks in the Netherlands. His residence permit came in mach 2008. Then he started working as a freelancer for the Holland Festival (Amsterdam). He droped in the team of theater agency Art-Support (Amsterdam) and supports theater productions in major venues like Stadsschouwburg Amsterdam, Könnkrijk Theater Carré, Muziek Gebouw aan het IJ and Concertgebouw. He works for the Dutch Film Festival (NFF) as lighting technician and traveling troupes such as Golden Palace and De Bontehond.
In 2009, continues its network of clients grow and he works full time Julio at festivals, theaters, concerts and theater events.
Started doing his own music projects as the duo Deita os Cabelos, de band Bandajú and the event Forró For All.
In 2010, he returned for three months in Brazil, where he worked for the Carnival in Rio de Janeiro and went on tour with the second-largest dance company in Brazil CIA Deborah Colker with the award-winning show Quatro Por Quatro.
Afther retorn from Brasil in april Julio split up from his parthner and starts invest more in his own productions doind the event Forró For All weekly and touring with his band Bandajú.
he also keeps working for festivals and droping in news festivals as Springdance Festival and Festival a'd werf (Utrecht). Began work with the theater group Teatro Munganga.
In 2011 Julio grew up producting de event Forró For All and brought his first international atraction from Brazl the Band Raiz do Sana.
In 2012 Julio was touring with Teatro Munganga in two shows. It was many other bands as Bicho de Pé, Tiãodua, Quarteto Olinda, Quinteto Dona Zaira coming. Julio created and organized the Iamforrozeiro the first forró festival in the Netherland.
in 2013 the rotine of international atraction organized per Julio keeps going on but he decided to go back to Brazil. After the second edition of Iamforrozeiro in September Julio retour to Brazil and started a new band Forró de Rabeca.
In 2014 Julio retours working for Pimpolhos da Grabde Rio in Carnival. Started working at project Carnaval Experince producing and coordenating a team of a visit tour in the carnival industry.
